The
Digital Strategist is an innovative, creative thinker who can inspire and
drive best-in-industry digital strategy across our diverse client base. The
Digital Strategist will work at the program/campaign level with a
cross-functional digital team, while also working closely with third-party
vendors and peers in other departments — sales, marketing, public relations
and IT — as their teams assist in the execution of specific digital tactics
or portions thereof. He or she will closely and carefully manage the
execution of the individual plans and tactics that embody all approved
digital strategies, while also monitoring, tracking and measuring the results
of such activities and reporting those results back to the team. These
activities include, but are not limited to, implementation and management of
site and social channel analytics, multi-channel ad buying and advertising
strategy and management of additional results-driven programs or campaigns.
This person must also exhibit deep understanding of the brand development and
customer segmentation aspects of the agency and incorporate that thinking
into the digital strategies of each project.
While
running individual programs/campaigns for the agency, this person will plan
and implement best-in-class digital strategies within the project, from the
web to social to mobile; while ensuring that such strategies meet or exceed
overall goals and objectives. S/he will uncover digital insights for that
client and target consumer and provide thought leadership in a collaborative,
cross-functional environment. This person will also advise clients and client
services teams on strategic digital approach, key tactics, best practices,
measurement requirements for ROI and evolving trends that will affect the
results for each client. S/he will work with the Community Manager to
incorporate best practices from traditional CRM and loyalty, including direct
mail, email, data collection, and data analysis in the social media environment
and participate in new business development pitches as needed. This person
will also be asked to collaborate with the Creative Director to develop
scopes of work for digital engagement projects.
We
are looking for a solid professional with experience leveraging digital
marketing functions along with a proven track record with marketing
automation technologies, lead generation, product marketing and analytics.
The ideal candidate will have strong presentation, written and verbal
communication skills as well as experience working in an independent fashion.
We are looking for at least three (3) years experience in a marketing support
role, experience with digital marketing tactics and ad-buying, strategic
planning experience and a deep passion for turning killer digital creative
into a huge win for the client.

the role will require “top-down” analysis of brand and segmentation
opportunities for any client, including presentations to clients and
supervision of internal teams. Execution responsibilities will increase or
decrease based on the workload of Creative Responsibilities.

In addition, this role shall
support our evolution by creating a “tone and tenor” at each level of the
organization that will manifest through three focus areas: a culture of
consultancy, learning, and success. Program development and roll out calendar
will be announced in January 2014 and execution will include coaching,
presentations, reading and several team reviews.
