• Ability to sketch storyboards and thumbnails quickly and clearly
• Extensive proficiency in Flash, with a focus on superb motion design and animation, solid action scripting and strong Flash production skills
• A command of typography, color, composition, hierarchy
• Strong understanding of user-centered design and navigation structures.
• Solid knowledge of HTML and any other web related technologies and tools and how they relate to design.
• Research and explore best practices in online marketing design.
• Complete knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, and any other web development tools (i.e., video and audio editing tools)
• Solid project management skills: able to work on multiple projects, re-prioritize as needed, and consistently deliver on time.
• 3 - 5 years of experience designing rich marketing interactive experience for the web with strong emphasis on Flash design/animation
• Retail/e-commerce background is preferred
• Some supervisory experience
• BA degree in Graphic Design, Interaction/Digital Design, or other Communications Design-related field preferred
• Proficiency with After Effects is a plus
• Agency background is a plus
This is a temporary position that will be converted to full-time after 3 to 6 months, and you will work with a group of amazing Art Directors, Copy Manager, Manager of Production to determine the look and feel of various marketing projects (Web banners, integrated landing pages, etc.) within our client’s organization - a large retail corporation.
