 Visual / UX Designer

We're looking for a talented visual and user experience designer to join our client’s growing design team and help take their widely used web application to the next level.  Our client is a well-funded dot-com company that has gained a lot of media attention since the day it was founded, and is widely recognized by creative communities.

This is an exciting time to join a small, entrepreneurial leadership and engineering team to take high-level ideas and transform them to live pixels, viewed by millions of online users and home design professionals around the world.

You must have:

·      Experience working on a large scale consumer web app/site

·      Diverse portfolio (that is NOT template based) of web design that demonstrates clean and modern aesthetic. Your work must show attention to detail and your ability to use great typography

·      Great CSS3 and JavaScript knowledge. Ability to sketch up a solid responsive website that engineers can use as a starting point

·      Solid foundation in UI and UX. Good understanding of latest web technologies and their limitations

·      Ability to make good on-the-fly product decisions with confidence

·      Ability to present confidently of what makes “good design” and a desire to simplify and streamline the world around you

·      Able to work under tight weekly deadlines and have fun with it
