The Communications team engages teams in our brand strategy, key business priorities and target customers. We build understanding and excitement about our direction (and keep our teams engaged) by articulating our vision and strategy; explaining what our vision is and articulating how their work contributes to our success. We’re responsible for communication and employee engagement programs for teams in over 1,000 stores across the United States and Canada, as well as company headquarters.
Essential Job Functions
1. Develop and execute communication that supports and advances business objectives
• Research, write and distribute communication to store, upper field and HQ teams
• Develop key messages
• Provide editing support to clients
• Recommend vehicle, content and timing to internal clients
• Ensure stakeholder business objectives are met
2. Serve as project manager for company events and initiatives, which includes:
• Leading initial input sessions
• Working with various departments to ensure alignment
• Developing communications plans and materials
• Guiding programs from concept to implementation
3. Provide communications counsel to internal clients:
• Advise on how best to communicate and engage internal audiences
• Train clients on how to use web-based publishing tools

Minimum requirements
• Four-year college degree required, preferably in Communications or a related field of study
• Minimum of two years experience in an agency or corporate communications environment
• Project management experience
• Proven ability to drive results through effective communications
