We are looking for a self-motivated, energetic individual who can manage the complete sales cycle, generate and build relationships with Fortune 500 marketing and/or communications departments and be tasked with securing new accounts. A successful candidate is passionate about strategic marketing and communications, understands our agency's core values and is capable of generating new accounts.

Responsibilities: 
• Close new business with Fortune 500 marketing and communications executives
• Generate new leads through cold solicitations
• Qualify prospects and focus agency’s resources on high-value targets

UX Designers, run don't walk. SF-based role.

here it is:  UX Designer role, combination of both visual (20%) and technical (60%), and good writing skills (10%).

The manager wants someone who can self managed and self motivated. She is a very hands off manager, can't spend time handholding anyone. There's another UX person in the SF team, who came from a “writing” background. This person will be working independently and should have a "take charge" attitude, yet great team player. Knows how to work with all levels within an organization.

This group is dedicated to helping their members achieve personal, professional and financial success. The challenge is to use a wide array of vehicles to communicate and to empower team members in these three areas across a broad and diverse population.

Ideally someone who is available to start in the next few weeks. The sooner, the better but will be flexible if need be. Standard positions at this company are “long term contract”, but these roles sometimes get converted permanently if the candidate is interested in that. Otherwise, they can do up to a 18 month contract. Will start out with year-end option of extension on Dec 31st.

Photoshop Production: hot as a million suns -- 2 positions at architectural firm in SF!

If you’re a captain of Photoshop Production who likes to work in a jaw-dropping (water views) visually-stunning SF offices with stylish peeps, then I have the job for you!

Totally rad architectural firm in downtown SF needs two of you, actually. One as a short term contractor (looking to pick up some extra work?) and one person who will stay on and potentially even convert permanently should things go well.

The only caveat is they need you NOW! Even, perhaps, next week.

They work on both PC’s and mac’s, so you choose. Full time hours. Will pay $25/hr.

The gist of it is, they are launching their sites home page in October and need a savvy person in the area of photoshop to do image re-sizing, color correction, that sort of thing.

Experience in Illustrator, InDesign a bonus, graphic design, web design and writing, even BETTER because they need your help in all areas if you can.

  1-2 contractors to assist our Global Communications group
  Work to begin immediately (end of this week/early next) with work to last through February 2014
  There may also be the potential for full-time employment for the right candidate
  Immediate job functions include: collection of assets from around the firm, photoshop image sizing and minor color correction for our website refresh targeted for Fall/Winter

Creative Director in Marin?

Kinetic Creative is seeking a Creative Director for a really cool client of ours in Marin!

The Creative Director position holds responsibility for directing and leading creative engagements on both the consumer and commercial sides of our business, as well as new business pitch efforts across multiple client accounts. Our expectation is that this person will strategize, create and execute innovative campaigns of a globally competitive caliber that achieve our alcohol beverage clients’ strategic goals. The CD generates, articulates, facilitates, and fosters creative solutions for clients with a combination of creative skills (both his/her own as well as the team’s) and brand strategy acumen. The CD ensures the work translates business, brand, market segment, and engagement strategies into a conceptual framework that both meets with client approval and achieves the KPIs for the engagement.

The CD collaborates across all departments to innovate groundbreaking ideas that leverage emerging technology and leverages past experience to instill best practices throughout the organization including creative writing teams, pitches, client and creative department management. This includes the recruitment and management of all artists, designers, writers, and filmmaker teams. Most of all, the CD “owns the creative process”, overseeing every creative detail from concept to execution.

The position requires excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to communicate across disciplines; organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables; exquisite attention to detail; strong interpersonal and management skills with the ability to be a collaborative team player and to interact with internal and external clients; and excellent cross-channel creative skills and the ability to communicate creative rationale.

The day-to-day job responsibilities include ensuring a thorough, intelligent, and complete Creative Brief is generated that aligns to the brand deck, customer segmentation and digital engagement strategy.  The CD must also provide feedback to the Account team (Account Director, Account Manager and/or Project Manager) early in the process with regard to the appropriateness of the project deliverable(s); suggest alternate avenues or media for a project if the avenue or media presented is not the best one to accomplish the objective. A challenging, probing, inquisitive personality – with the flair of perfectionist - is required because status quo solutions are not permitted. While collaboration is vital to our process we do not accept consensus outcomes. Each member of the creative team must have the personal drive and passion to want exceptional results and to feed off other talented individuals to deliver inspired work. The role also requires a working knowledge of the alcohol beverage US market with specific three-tier, DTC, and digital compliance focus.

In addition, this role shall support our evolution by creating a “tone and tenor” at each level of the organization that will manifest through three focus areas: a culture of consultancy, learning, and success.
