Our client, a large corporation with a strong reputation as a
responsible corporate citizen and has long been committed to improving the
quality of life in the communities across the United States. We are hiring a Sr. Graphic Designer to join
their Consumer Communications Department.
This is a contract ongoing position, can start immediately.
We’d like to review your resume and portfolio if you have the following:
- 4-year art school
with B.F.A in Graphic Design or Advertising.
- Proficient
knowledge of Mac OS X and related software programs such as CS4 (InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator)
Painter,
Acrobat 8, Excel, and Microsoft Word, Flash.
- Proficient in,
conceptualizing, designing and developing complex corporate initiatives in
print and digital environments.
- 6+ years in
retail, online, or corporate advertising environment, design firm or
advertising agency and at least 3+ years
as a designer.
- Exceptional
ability in conceptualizing complex online and print marketing initiatives that
are multi-faceted and present
all print and online materials of a campaign in a
unified manner, with an artistic use of design and typography expertise
and give creative
support to Designers and Assistant in designing logos, and advertising
materials.
- Art direct and
provide corporate direction to outside advertising agencies, interactive
agencies and other print design
houses in creation of printed and online
advertising materials, and coordinating projects from concept to finish.
- Proven knowledge
and ability to conceptualize and produce advertising for webpages, display ads
, weekly inserts,
ROPs,
collateral, merchandising signage, corporate print, and branding materials.
- Ability to
visualize and communicate ideas effectively in presentations to clients with
excellent oral and written skills.
- Proficient
knowledge of Mac OS X and related software programs such as CS4 (InDesign,
Photoshop, Illustrator)
Painter,
Acrobat 8, Excel, and Microsoft Word, Flash. Solid understanding of Pre-press
and printing/online process.
- Assertive in
influencing the creative output of the team. Accomplishes this by mentoring
team members, encouraging
them to stretch creatively and helping them to
develop their full creative potential.
Key
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides
concept-driven creative ideas and solutions for strategic marketing integrated
campaigns across all media channels; including strong online presence,
compelling print materials and targeted direct mail executions.
- Art directs, and
facilitates transfer of knowledge to outside creative resources to expedite
creative projects that achieve marketing objectives while meeting tight
deadlines.
- Assigns, delegates
and partners with the copywriter to guides the creative process in such a way
that the finished work is strategically sound and of the highest possible
quality.
- Supports
Interactive, photography, and production resources to achieve and integrate
completion of projects.
- Responsible for
consistently upholding brand standards throughout all design materials.
- Monitor and solve
creative problems to guide projects to meet branding goals, and is assertive in
influencing the
creative
output of the team. Accomplishes this by mentoring team members, encouraging
them to stretch creatively and helping them to develop their full creative
potential.
