Our wonderful, easygoing client needs a Webmaster ASAP.
Duration: 2-3 months
The Webmaster is responsible for:
· The company's website and all its languaged variations: NA, UK, France, Germany and Netherlands
· Analyze data to understand user behavior and develop strategies toward continuous content improvement.
· Work closely with IT and outside agencies in web improvement launches.
· Manage global website priorities and other online assets.
The Webmaster requires the following experience and background:
· A minimum of five to seven years of technical experience in designing, developing and maintaining corporate websites.
· Must demonstrate a strong understanding of usability, web navigation, user habits, web design trends, cross-browser and platform compatibility issues and site analysis.
· Serves as the point person to various internal clients, most of whom are non-technical, so strong communication skills (both conceptual and technical) are needed.
· Advanced knowledge of web development languages/tools such as HTML and CSS (IIS, JavaScript and .net framework ideal, but not necessary).
· Strong knowledge of OpenCMS content management systems required.
· Strong understanding of Google Analytics and SEO techniques.
· Ability to work well under pressure including adapting to changing objectives and deadlines.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment and in collaboration with other departments.
· Ability to multi-task, manage time well and stay organized
