Our client a very well known gaming company is seeking a
Freelance Producer to work in their Video Services & Broadcast Production
group located in San Francisco, CA, which specializes in creating video assets
& TV spots for the Brand Marketing group. The freelance producer will be
brought in on a per project basis and will need to work on-site. This is not a
full time position.
Our ideal candidate has a strong background
in video, experience in editing and knowledge of motion graphics. The candidate
should also have excellent organizational, technical and troubleshooting
skills. Experience working in a short
turn around environment is a must; familiarity of video game industry is a plus.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate
with internal creative team, clients, freelancers, and vendors to produce video
projects
• Submit
assets for approvals to client and other parties
• Coordinate
asset and information exchange, take meeting notes
• Manage
voiceover casting, recording sessions
• Help
organize small scale shoots
• Create/update
spreadsheets to track deliverables
• Assist
team as needed
Requirements:
• Knowledge
of Final Cut Studio, After Effects, Mac OS, and video formats/codecs
• Proficiency
in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
• BA
degree from a 4-year university/professional school preferred; equivalent work
experience accepted
• 1
year experience in a marketing role at an ad agency, design firm, or related marketing
environment is desired
• Well-organized,
highly self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic
• Must
be able to work independently and also well with others as part of a team
• Must
be able to get along with a wide range of people and personalities
• Ability
to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Adaptability
to changing priorities and deadlines
